FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Most patients feel slight pressure when switching to a new set of aligners — that's just your teeth moving. It's nothing like traditional braces, and there are no wires or brackets to irritate your gums.
The length of your Invisalign treatment will depend on your own individual needs. Some milder cases only require 12 weeks of treatment, while complex cases can take up to 18 months. We will give you a proposed treatment time during your free consultation.
Almost never. Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible — that's the whole point. Most patients say their friends and colleagues didn't even notice.
When you eat or drink during your Invisalign treatment, you must remove your aligners. This prevents damage but also stops food debris and bacteria becoming trapped in your aligners. The great news is that it also means you can eat and drink as normal!
